Verse Vital: Saved From What?
I recently re-watched the epic iceberg collision scene in James Cameron's 1997 movie "Titanic." "Hard a starboard," shouted the helmsman as he frantically turned the wheel. "Full astern," shouted 1st Officer Murdoch as his calm demeanor turned to grim shock. Despite the last-minute maneuver, the crew of the RMS Titanic was unable to avoid grazing the starboard side of the gigantic ship.

How I became a Christian (Part 2)
My journey from Hinduism to a living and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ began in an immigrant neighborhood of Greater London, UK. My nominal Hindu parents took my siblings and me to the mandir (Hindu temple) every Sunday to perform murti puja (idol worship) and aarthi (offering of light ritual) to various deva and devis (gods and goddesses). I recall feeling a hint of unease and mild skepticism during this period.
